unique, 8-sided shape and narrow profile. The internal baffle eliminates hot spots, working with the face diffuser to deliver beautiful, diffused, tapering light. In addition to a white reflecting surface, four removable gold and silver inner panels are included, allowing for a range of lighting possibilities. Its broad, wrap-around light is perfect for portraiture and fashion and product. |

MOTION CONTROL TO GO! |

This system is currently in the Philippines
The portable Real-Time Motion Control System allows the
exact movements of the camera to be recorded and then played back repeatedly.
The operator uses remote gear handles and views the action on a video assist
monitor. This is ideal for following actors and vehicles in real time.
The System can also be programmed using the "key frame" technique. With this method the camera is moved to a series of fixed positions and the positions are memorized by the computer. When the move is filmed, the computer creates a smooth path between the positions and the camera hits each position at exactly the right time. This is great for motion controlled product shots.
The System has been designed for the live action environment; it is quick to set up with controls familiar to camera operators and assistants.
The amount of effects that the System can do is
limited only by your imagination. In addition to repeat-pass split-screens for
"twining" actors, the System does
wire and rig removal, morphs, fades & dissolves and mattes. The System can also
do
streaks, time lapse and stop & go motion.
Existing moves can be
edited, scaled and modified by position and time. Once programmed, the
System can repeat the move again at the same or different frame rates,
forward or backward. The System can also control audio, video, light dimmers
and motion bases.
The System comes with a 35mm Fries Mitchell 35R3 spinning mirror reflex camera. This camera has extremely precise film registration and a pin registered film clip holder. The camera comes with PL, Panavision & Nikon lens mounts in both full and academy center. The camera runs at crystal speeds from time lapse and single frame to 128 fps, it has a color or B&W high res CCD video tap and takes 400' and 1000' film loads.
Also Available:
Digital Disk Video Recorder.
Records high quality video assist at non-real-time motion control speeds
and plays them back at true 24fps and other frame rates.
The System can also accommodate:
Noiseless cameras: Arriflex, Panavision, VistaVision &
65mm
Video cameras: HDTV, DigiBeta, BetaCam, direct digital
Periscopes and snorkels: Century Precision, Panavision/Frazier, Optex and Innovision
Low angle prisms: Century, Panavision
